How is it £1.5m? It's three and a half months money, about £800-£900 grand tops, probably about half of which he will get if he walks now either way.
Small beer in the grand scheme of things. The bloke has earned the best part £11 million from us already. If Sullivan has to pay the lot it's budget for but the LMA has negotiators for this kind of thing, notwithstanding his contract with us. Probably looking at half a mill, tops, to go now.

Er.. thing we have all been here before haven't we? Papertalk, Gold rubbished reports of a sacking and said talks to be held at the end of the season.
Imagine BFS got us to 5th or even 6th, he'd not sack
him then. If we end up in the usual 10th11th spot he'll have met little of the criteria set out for him & no renewal justified:
1.Attacking entertaining football.. in parts achieves for 1st third of season definitely.
2. Cup run- hard one as we progressed further than usual (not saying much) but blew it in a really winnable game with our worst performance of the year. Has to be a fail
3. Higher league finish- still to be determined yet with upcoming matches higher than 8th would be extremely hard. Lookinh at 10/11th as usual - fail therefore
So by criteria set to Sam he is likely to have failed on thr majority of counts. They would look very silly in keeping him
therefore aftercwhat they stipulated. But we've seen them looking sill before. Outcome decided at the end of the season therefore...
